Job Description :
SiSTEM is seeking a highly skilled ACT Bootcamp Instructor who has extensive knowledge of the ACT exam and test preparation. The ideal instructor will be capable of independently developing and delivering an ACT prep course that thoroughly covers all sections of the ACT, including English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing. The instructor will have the freedom to design course materials, lessons, and practice tests without the need for hand-holding or micromanagement from SiSTEM.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and create a comprehensive ACT prep course, including lesson plans, practice tests, assignments, and test-taking strategies for each section of the ACT (English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing)
• Lead live instructor-led sessions to teach critical ACT strategies, time management, and subject-specific content
• Provide tailored feedback and support to students to ensure understanding and test readiness
• Ensure that the course materials are engaging, accessible, and meet the needs of all students
• Track student progress throughout the course and make adjustments to materials when needed
• Prepare students for the actual test with mock exams and a final review session
• Offer a final capstone project or exam to assess the students’ readiness for the ACT exam

Requirements :

• Strong experience teaching or tutoring students for the ACT exam with a deep understanding of its format, sections, and strategies
• Proven ability to independently create test prep materials and deliver live sessions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, understandable lessons
• Strong organizational skills to develop and manage a structured curriculum and maintain student progress
• Comfortable teaching in a virtual environment with reliable access to technology (computer, internet, video conferencing tools)
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated without the need for direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications :

• A degree in education, mathematics, English, science, or a related field
• Previous experience with online teaching or tutoring platforms
• Familiarity with ACT prep books, official practice exams, and online prep resources
