Description We are looking for a detail-oriented bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant to for a nonprofit in Gardena, California. In this role, you will provide crucial support to ensure smooth daily operations, assisting with a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable non-profit organization. Responsibilities: - Deliver excellent customer service to parents, providers, and internal and external stakeholders. - Support the fiscal team by conducting research, maintaining documentation, and managing spreadsheets for provider garnishment processes. - Handle tasks related to processing, printing, mailing, and addressing inquiries for Stage 1 and AP providers. - Respond to provider payment-related calls, including check verifications, by managing the provider payment processing call queue. - Update and maintain provider files in the internal database, particularly regarding monthly union dues. - Assist with special projects for the fiscal team as needed. - Perform general administrative duties as assigned to support departmental goals. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. - Strong skills in answering inbound and outbound calls with professionalism. - Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on clear communication. - Competence in data entry and maintaining accurate records. - Experience with email correspondence and scheduling appointments. - Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
