Job Description

Tesiny is a new bar and restaurant that will be opening soon in South Philly! We are looking for personable, and knowledgeable bar staff to head our Front of House team.

Responsibilities: 

• Receive, prepare, and serve orders to according to the standards of the restaurant and guest preferences
• Provide warm, courteous, and elevated service to all guests of the restaurant
• Ensure that bar area stays neat and orderly, and that health & safety standards are being upheld routinely
• Engage with guests, and proactively suggest ways to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain expert knowledge of all food and beverage of the restaurant
• Be collaborative in building cocktails for the menu and developing new cocktail recipes
• Handle cash/card transactions accurately and responsibly
• Take accountability for the product and profitability of the bar with the ability to cost out products for beverage and cocktails in development

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Full-time availability, nights and weekends
• Expert knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails and spirits
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced restaurant
• Professional, passionate approach to the world of food, drink, and hospitality
