Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years.

We are currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role requires a full background check including fingerprint, drug screen, and employment verification.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dietary Aide ensures that meals are properly prepared and ready for service on time. He/she must have the ability to work under stressful conditions and keep up with work flows. He/she must be pleasant and cooperative with fellow workers and be neat and well groomed. He/she should be willing to show understanding in dealing with problems and emotionally disturbed children.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare Meals
• Wash pots and pans
• Record temperature on all equipment
• Clean out pot sinks with degreaser
• Ensure that kitchen is cleaned daily
• Perform kitchen cook cleaning duties as per schedule
• Any and all other tasks that may be assigned on an as needed basis
• Demonstrates knowledge of state licensing regulations, contractual requirements, CARF standards, HIPAA policy, ordinances, laws and other regulations required of his/her position and acts consistently and in obedience to same.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to attend a mandatory, two-week new hire orientation (M-F).

Education and Experience: 

• High School diploma or G.E.D.  
• Minimum of two years experience working full service culinary operation in cafeteria style.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
