About the Role:

We’re hiring Environmental Operations Laborers to support on-site waste operations at a leading pharmaceutical facility. This is an entry-level, hands-on position involving hazardous and non-hazardous materials handling in an industrial environment. No prior experience is needed — training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with drum handling, bulking, crushing, and material transfers

• Safely package and label hazardous and non-hazardous waste

• Collect and process solid, liquid, and sludge materials

• Sort recyclable materials and assist with truck loading

• Provide support at hazardous waste storage areas

• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Follow strict safety procedures and environmental regulations (EPA, OSHA, DOT)

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old (or within 6 months of turning 21)

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree not necessary

• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings

• Must complete a Hazmat physical

• Must be clean-shaven for daily respirator use (up to 1 hour/day)

• No call/no shows to interviews will disqualify candidates

Work Environment:

• Requires frequent lifting (up to 30 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally)

• Exposure to chemicals, odors, noise, and all weather conditions

• Tasks are physically demanding and require attention to safety

• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
