We are seeking a **Metallurgical Engineer (CMT Materials Engineer)** to join our team! **_Ideal candidate would have expert witness experience, be a professional engineer and have familiarity with construction industry materials and failures. Having a CWI would be a plus._** Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Forensic work related to construction industry is desired + Good project management and report writing skills necessary + Time management and good customer service skills **Minimum requirements:** + Metallurgical Engineering Degree, BS minimum with a Masters degree preferred + 2 years minimum of professional experience + Materials Science or Engineering Degree with metallurgical experience would be considered + Experience with failure investigations and technical writing **Technical requirements:** + Working towards achieving PE, CWI licenses + Good report writing skills. + Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft, ERP and LIMS software systems + Knowledge of building codes, welding codes is useful, but experience as forensic expert is critical. **Other miscellaneous qualities:** + Ability to travel, if project demands. + Ability to operated SEM and other digital microscopes (Keyance) **Compensation:** $149,760 - $156,000 annual salary The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law.
