Job Summary Responsible for assisting designated machine operator or production team in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material handling, and other.
Job Responsibilities - Operate and maintain concrete post processing equipment, Grinder, Bullnoser, Water Treatment system safely
- Inspect the quality of products according to standards, and remove junk from production line
- Detect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor
- Sort product according to specification
- Assist in maintaining accurate production flow
- Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes
- Execute Daily and Business fundamentals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator
- Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Requirements - High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple operating instructions and safety procedures
- Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred
- While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high
- Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses. Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment
Compensation - $19/hr to $20/hr
- Additional $1.50 per hour on night shift
