Job Title: Senior Data Scientist Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Onsite 3 days per week) Compensation: $200,000 - $220,000 base salary Job Summary: We're seeking an intellectually curious and collaborative Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Woodland Hills. This is a unique opportunity to be the first and sole internal data scientist, helping to build a center of excellence in machine learning as we transition from working with Bain & Co. to bringing everything in-house by January 2025. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the development of pricing and demand forecasting models for the Travel, Hospitality, or Ecommerce industries. + Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities and make actionable recommendations. + Collaborate with Bain & Co. consultants through year-end, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer and establishing best practices for future data science initiatives. + Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python and modern data science frameworks. + Work with large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Databricks) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS experience acceptable if willing to learn Azure). + Play a key role in establishing a data-driven culture and building internal expertise around advanced analytics and ML.
