Job description:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Handle password resets, respond to help desk tickets, resolve basic problems, and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams. Deliver excellent customer service through clear communication and timely follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system
Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to computers, software applications, printers, and connectivity
Assist users with password resets and account access issues
Escalate more complex or unresolved problems to Level 2 or specialized IT teams
Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system
Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and follow-up to ensure user satisfaction
Entry-Level Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) is a plus
Internship experience or at least 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role preferred
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems methodically
Customer-focused attitude with patience and professionalism
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
